*So maybe you don’t have all the experience in the world. That’s okay. We’re willing to train someone who has the right voice for the brand.
**Translation: you want an actual career in social media, aka you don’t want to be on camera, meet celebrities, or use this as a “big break” to become internet famous. No. Just…no.
Currently looking for candidates for these 3 positions:
- Social media editor: Were you the first person to share The Dress with your FB friends? Do you roll your eyes when someone asks if you’ve heard about the latest celeb drama because OFC you heard and you’ve already tweeted about it twice? Sounds like you’d be a perfect fit in a role responsible for sharing content from eonline.com to the E! Online Facebook/Twitter/Instagram accounts in the E! Online social voice (+monitoring and pitching trending stories to the editorial team)
- Weekend social media editor: same as above, FT covering Wednesday-Sunday.
- Social content writer: Do you have a witty writing style and an eye for finding a clever way to cover a trending story? Have a knack for writing content that’s less celebrity-based and more about what’s popping on social…content that will get people talking (and sharing with their friends)? Come do that with us. You’ll be assigned trending stories to write up in your own hilarious way, and you’ll also pitch stories and features you want to cover.
If you or someone you love fits this description, please send resumes + CLs + writing samples/portfolios to email@example.com.
